I'll probably do another shoot for the assignment.... now I just need an idea of another product!
Wow! Great lighting and attention to the background detail; you'll definitely have to find some more fruit to stab this week!

Cool Product Time

Final (flash flagged, back right fill, top fill, white balance, retouching)

I also chronicled the 28 minute process it took to shoot this, step-by-step.

Edit: Using another entry for the contest.

Default Not for assignment

Took this a few weeks ago while on vacation for the first time with our baby! Wine festivals are just not the same! Not your typical shot of a baby bottle, don't think my shot will make it on any billboards for baby retail shops! Disclaimer: bottle contains water only!

Default Assignment: Product Photography

Insurance is a product too. I had a hard time with this one, but then while at a playground with my son we saw a car accident. The next day the car was still there and I thought, “Insurance is a product too.” The statistic used is completely accurate from a research paper recently completed as well. Therefore, I took on the challenge and I came up with this:

Got_Insurance

Camera: Olympus E-510 (Kit w/ two Zuiko lenses)
Date (HST): 23 Aug 2008
Aperture: f/6.3
Exposure: 0.005 sec (1/200)
ISO Speed: 100
Exposure Bias: 0/10 EV
Focal Length: 40mm
Metering: Pattern
Flash: None
Software Editing: MS Digital Imaging Suite with a Watercolor filter + text add-in.
