Just beautiful. I love the vibrancy of the colors and subtle bokeh. Your photo inspires me to go find a baby or toddler for this assignment. Perhaps they're too young yet to have developed fear and loathing for "that crazy lady with the camera..."

Someone beat me to the needle and thread idea so, this is what I came up with.
Who is THAT masked man? I know that's Zorro or is it the Lone Ranger...? Any who... this is what I could come up with.... ![]() ![]() Exposure: 0.017 sec (1/60) Aperture: f/5.6 Focal Length: 85 mm ISO Speed: 200 Exposure Bias: 0/3 EV Flash: Flash fired

I'm new to this contest thing and the photography thing. I'm having lots of fun!! I call this "Out from the dark". This is my little Maggie. She was getting so annoyed with me taking her picture. The eyes say..."Oh Mom...". Imagine how you would look with a flash going off in your face.

Well, finally got our youngest cat -- 6 month old Gavin -- to pose for an "eyes" pic. Here it is, with a little soft focus pp'ing around the edges. If you look close enough, you can see the reflection of the window in his far eye. A bit trite, I know ("the eyes are the windows to the soul), but there it is.
