Just beautiful. I love the vibrancy of the colors and subtle bokeh. Your photo inspires me to go find a baby or toddler for this assignment. Perhaps they're too young yet to have developed fear and loathing for "that crazy lady with the camera..."

...Now throw it!

This is my first assignment and only my second attempt at using the manual mode on my camera. This is certainly a learning experience!

Default ***Latest Assignment:The eyes have it (Aug 13 - 27)

I'm new to this contest thing and the photography thing. I'm having lots of fun!! I call this "Out from the dark". This is my little Maggie. She was getting so annoyed with me taking her picture. The eyes say..."Oh Mom...". Imagine how you would look with a flash going off in your face.

Default Assignment: the eyes have it

Well, finally got our youngest cat -- 6 month old Gavin -- to pose for an "eyes" pic. Here it is, with a little soft focus pp'ing around the edges. If you look close enough, you can see the reflection of the window in his far eye. A bit trite, I know ("the eyes are the windows to the soul), but there it is.
