I'll go with the "New Life" side of this one. Best shot I could get of these little buggers.

this is a picture of my grandson at 5 years old. Doing what I suspect all of us would love to do.....Enjoying life! He just wanted me to hurry up and let him jump some more into the water.

What's that in the top right corner? It seems unnaturally dark - I've had similar effects with hair floating in front of my lens but, from your avatar, I'm guessing that's not the case!

He certainly looks full of life though.

Contrasting

Hey guys!
First time poster-real novice. Feel free to make this photo look better! Photoshop gives me migraines...

Some people would look at this image as both...maybe?

The experience on this day with these photos was both life and death for me as my CF became corrupted when I tried to download 300 shots to my computer! Grrrr!

i noticed it after I posted....I went back ad looked at the original and its the shadow in the water of the tree that is next door. I should have cloned it out a little......definitely not my hair over the lens...LOL!

Default I choose life....

but it's also about death. This swan's mate was killed two weeks ago by a turtle. She is left to care for the young ones all by herself.
