Default You might be a redneck if dinner falls on your lap

First Post Here, Hello to All. This picture was taken over a weekend visit with my Mom and her husband. Built a quick little set with some random stuff lying around during their house remodeling project. We took another really funny one of my mom "standing guard" by the contractors outhouse.

Default Orison is very happy with his snack

While in Hong Kong this summer we worked a lot with kids and we made them snack and Orison in this picture was VERY happy with the food. If we put any kind of food in front of him it would immediately put into his mouth.

Affirmative also means to validate something is true. This pilot is looking down to ensure his skids are FIRM-ly on the ground. I just happen to snap this shot while hiking, yesterday, and the helicopter dropped a worker off at the top of a mountain ridge.

Default Assignment: Affirmative!

Turns out last week's assignment had something positive to offer after all. I took this shot in "auto" while walking around in an old orchard and matching buildings. I didn't like the layout of the picture straight out of the camera, but with a little bit of cropping post-production, I think it'll be OK for this week. This is why:

If you look at the dials, you can see petrol costs 0.00 per litre. I'm pretty sure news like that would end up in the "positive news" column of most newspapers these days!

Talking Happy Horsie Weekend

Assignment: Affirmative

I took my horse, Dylan, camping this past weekend and we had such a great time. Here he is, tied to his high line, looking Oh So Pleased With Himself! I just love this horse and every time I ride him is a life affirming experience. He is just so darned sensible, even when he gets into a sticky situation he always has kept me safe.

To me, "affirmative" means going for it. These shoes say, "heck yes, I'm going to dance all night."

Taken in my house using the "Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring" box-set as a tripod, desaturated and resaturated in Photoshop. Set the timer to 10 seconds to take the shot.
