Is checking the date standard procedure? I hardly ever use my flickr account, but I will for this if it's preferred, or required for date-checking.

Default Assignment: X-tych

chatham triptych

All photos taken with my Canon PowerShot A590 IS on July 26 with the following settings:

Aperture: f/8
Exposure: 1/250 sec
ISO 80
Flash: No

(I think that's all the info I need, right?)

I took those when I went to the Cape Cod Baseball League all star game last weekend with some friends. These pictures are across the street from Chatham Light...I tried my hand at a bit of post-processing, the look I went for reminds me of vacationland photos from old family albums.

The information can also be extracted from the picture if it retains EXIF data so publishing via Flickr isn't mandatory (although it has advantages, such as a good set up for allowing those interested to view larger versions of the picture). As the moderators shortlist pictures for the weekly selection, attention is paid to dates and whether the post has been properly labelled (see the rules in the first post).

I think it is certainly pushing the boundaries because it has overlapping panels. Collage generally blends the elements together more directly. The classic definition of diptych, triptych, etc, tends to refer to works of art created on hinged panels - we are using a broader definition than that.
