Default Assignment: X-tych

Assignment: X-tych

SeaFair

Well, I dunno. Had some difficulty figuring this one out. This also would have qualified for last week's assignment - 10 minutes from home. Last weekend in beautiful and natural Seattle, an invasion of jet-powered boats, machinery, armed services recruiting and general motorsports invaded my neighborhood for 2 days. A friend lent me his 80-200mm/2.8 lens, so I thought I should make use of it.

SeaFair seems to be a uniquely cheesy Seattle thing. There are cheesy SeaFair Pirates. All the boats are generally sponsored by local businesses like plumbers and beef jerky makers and they are named Miss Something, i.e. Miss Burien, Miss Beacon Plumbing, Miss Carbon Footprint. It's certainly a surreal experience. Whether I captured it or not in the above submission, I dunno.

I hear Noodling Around In My Backyard is really good but I can't find it. Can someone tell me what page it's on? I can't figure out why I keep missing it. Thank you!

Hi Pictd, they're referring to Lyskabar's x-tych on page 17.

Tried to keep a religious theme and the shape of an iconic triptych. Not for assignment

Well that wasn't what it looked like before I uploaded to photobucket but I quite like it. This is a jpeg of the original gif.
