Thumbs up Feet

Hello all,
I am a rookie, and this is my first post. I must admit, I almost don't know *anything* when it comes to photography; except that I love to take pictures and lately I am trying to read a lot of blogs, articles, forums, etc.

Please do put any comments you feel like putting, I am sure that will help me in my future endeavors.

Thanks
haddock

Default Assignment: Feet

I was losing hope of ever finding any inspiration for this assignment...that is til just now when I saw the state of my daughters feet/socks as she flopped down on my bed, worn out, on her return from an Outdoor Pursuits couple of days with the school.

Taken in aperture priority, manual focus, converted to b&w, boosted contrast(Photoshop Elements), little bit of vignetting(Piknik).

Default Assignment: Feet

Woo-hoo! Just got my first DSLR (Nikon D40) yesterday and this is my first assignment submission with it. This is a shot of our son's feet dangling over his loft bed.
