Sisters

My little ones! (aged 4 & 7m). They love sitting together for storytime just before bed & I've often thought I really should take a photograph of their little bare feet together.

Exif data:
Camera: Canon EOS 400D Digital, 50mm f/1.8 prime lens
Exposure: 0.017 sec (1/60)
Aperture: f/4
Focal Length: 50 mm
ISO Speed: 400
Exposure Bias: 0/3 EV
Flash: camera flash. Also window lighting & silver reflector

Black background used for effect & background has been darkened slightly in photoshop.

I know there will be lots of baby feet, but I thought this might be a little different. I like the way the dark background emphasises the shapes (had great fun & took loads of pics) & also the way this immediately says 'storytime' to me. It makes me smile.

Default Assignment:feet

These boots were made for workin'...
The feet are in the boots, so does that count...?

This was actually harder than I thought it was gonna be. Anyway, I applied a craqeulure filter and a sepia filter, upped the contrast and drew around the perimeter with a black pencil. Hope you guys like it.

Default footprint in snow

When I first heard this assignment's topic I thought of this shot which I took back at the end of march so it is not eligible for the assignment but I just wanted to share it because I really like it. Not for contest.

feet- snow
