ok so this week we are going to try backlighting subjects...
you can read more about it on the blog Rediscovering Backlighting my small attempt this morning with a maple leaf stuck with sticky tape on my kitchen light can you picture me up on ladder trying to capture this with my macro lens.. i nearly fell twice...lol ![]() And a chipping sparrow with sun behind/side of him

![]() At this size, it looks more like a silhouette picture but, as it gets a bit larger, you can see the backlighting effect picking out the woman and some of the details on her. The picture is slightly post-processed (see original), mainly to get the 16:9 ratio I wanted. I was going to use it as another Before and After posting but decided to put it here instead. Wulf |
