Default Assignment: Clashing Colors

I decided to scour the house to see if I had any clashing colors. Orange and Blue won out, as I found a LOT of items on the first floor alone. Orange and Blue happen to also be my school colors while growing up (and I only happen to have a Bears football. I cheer for the PACKERS!).

Across the Wheel

Camera: Nikon D40
Exposure: 1.3 sec (13/10)
Aperture: f/10
Focal Length: 30 mm
ISO Speed: 200
Exposure Bias: -1/3 EV

I did a whole set of complimentary colours last year. This was a mosaic of the shots.

I actually made some greeting cards as a present out of the individual flower pictures (though I did replace the bottom middle with a purple and green shot. The rest of the set is here. They aren't all quite across from the colour wheel, but I only had one pack of paper to use as backgrounds lol

Default Assignment - Clashing colours

Blue and orange, and perhaps a bit more subtle than most...

I'm not sure that today's light really sets off the contrast between the blue car and the orange wall. Perhaps the sun will pop out later this evening and I'll try again.

Also, the damn rain already dirtied my car that I just washed yesterday. =(

nice pic but as soon as I saw the football I was like OH NO, then I read what you had to say and I'm right there with ya on that one...... we live in northern illinois also and are huge packer fans!
