Default Instant Meadow

Here you go taken in my back garden here in the UK just before grass cutting. Taken without any view thru the viewfinder and it looks at if I have a veritable meadow of daisies etc in the back yard. In fact they are only about 25mm(1in) high and it took next no time to cut the grass!!

EXIF

I didn't know what went wrong but it came out kinda dark considering it was pointing to the sky.
And the picture was nice on the camera's LCD.

Default Assignment: From the Hip

Held my arm straight over-head, pointing the camera in the general direction of the Brocade building in San Jose, CA. Overexposed, but it gives the image an abstract quality. Especially like that the only color is the vivid blue of the sky reflected in the center column of glass. Cropped and sharpened slightly.

Default Taking a walk...

I tried to take a picture of an ornament hanging in a tree in my backyard but found myself trying to compose the shot even though I wasn't using the viewfinder or the LCD screen. So I decided to go to the park and take a walk. While I was there, I noticed that there were people headed towards me. As they approached, I put my camera down by my side and clicked.

Or from the belly button....Tison Tool Museum.

I did some editing on this photo and turned it to black and white, and felt that it turned out to be a much better photo. But I thought that was taking the assignment out of context. You can see what I did in Before and After.
