Talking Assignment: from the hip

Couldn't get anywhere to take pics, so I just went out in my back yard at night, put the camera over my head and shot one pic with the flash on. This is the result...

Default Assignement: From The Hip

A shot taken a couple of days ago.
Fired from knee level. I cropped it a bit to cut out some of the white sky: I hope that's not considered "cheating".
I wish I had lowered the ISOs before shooting.

080601Zaragoza - Por las calles

Camera: Fujifilm FinePix S5600
Exposure: 0.003 sec (1/350)
Aperture: f/5
Focal Length: 6.3 mm
ISO Speed: 200
Exposure Bias: 0/100 EV
Flash: Flash did not fire

P.S: I'm finally trying Flickr. This is my first contribution coming from the flickr page.

Default Assignment: From the Hip

I took the following picture with the camera at ground level as the snow was heaped up on the side of the hill but I wanted to include it in the shot. I trimmed off some of the snow from the original as it was too distracting.

From the Toe...

Camera: Canon 400D
Lens: Sigma 18-200 OS
Exposure: 1/1000 sec.
Aperture: f/6.3
Focal length: 18mm
ISO speed: 100

dlaf, I was thinking the same thing! That kitty must be more highly evolved than most. He would need opposable thumbs to hold the camera and snap the picture

kunaldaswani and Slushie, if I was judging, I'd have a hard time deciding between the two of you for the winner. Both amazing shots!
