Default Weekly assignment: "from the hip"

My grandson Rocky was not cooperating with me as I tried to get some shots of him playing in the yard, so I held the camera low in hopes of catching his face from under his ball cap. He spotted the camera and turned away at the last moment so I didn't get what I wanted but I like the composition that did happen as a result.
Date: 5/23/08
Camera Canon EOS 40D
Exp.: f/11 @ 1/320 sec.
ISO 400

Default Assignment:From the hip

Took this shot crouching under a wooden jetty at the beach trying to avoid water splashes on the camera hence the crooked pic. No pp done. taken at shoulder height

Noticed a reflection (after taking the pic) in the wet sand of someone who must have been standing atop the jetty, reflection through the gaps in the timber sleepers I guess.
