I admit to being embarrassed to post this, but it is the "best" and most salvageable low light/night shot I have out of well over 100 shots of the moon, flowers, street lights. Pathetic, huh?
![]() The only way I could think of to salvage it's poor quality and Xtreme boringness was to do a bit of selective coloring and give it a name: Land of the Midnight Sun ![]() There, isn't the photograph a lot more artsy now?! I'm not sure what I learned with this assignment other than my little Canon Powershot A80 can't do the moon well, and how much I need to work in this area!

this is my entry for this week's assignment
this was taken front of my house , i hang the flag early during the day in preparation for Memorial Day next week and realized i could use it for this week's assignment. taken 5/19/08 @ 8:12 pm US central time ![]() exif: f/5.6 exp bias: +0.3 EV focal length: 85 mm ISO 500 shutter speed: 0.3000 sec flash did not fire thank you |

Not for assignment: Aha, we think alike. This was one of the first shots I took when I purchased my camera...just messing around.
