One of my favorite times of the year! Nice shots, NP .
Also a picture from last spring. This tree hasn't started flowering yet.

Default Frozen Shut

I'll try to get out and do some "thinking outside the box" this week, but here's one to start me off:

You should feel lucky. We had an early spring bloom this year and then a 2 week freeze. It looks like fall around here. Lots of brown and orange. Hopefully everything will come out of it though.

I already posted this in the "Share your shots" thread a couple days ago, but it still remains my favorite shot from last weekend's "first weekend of real spring" shoot.

Daffodils 3 - 4/21/07

By this weekend, there should be even more new life, so I will try and step outside the box then!

I live sort of near where NaturesPixel lives, so our spring is just beginning. Our maple trees have exploded in the past couple of days and I never really noticed how cool their flowers were before!

Default spring experimentation

With spring I've been trying some new flower shots, I don't usually take shots of flowers and had a good time experimenting. I posted the first pic on the critique forum and have refined it with the help from members. The other shots are just some more experimentation.

Here are some more fun and colorful shots!

Default Springtime assignment

This one was easy because I love macro shots.. but difficult because I have to pick just one!

I really like how this one turned out, especially since I was using a 24-120mm at close range.
