    Composition - Get Down:

Hang glide launch pad Te Mata Peak, Havelock North, NZ.

I see this as two ways of getting down: me on my hands and knees for the shot, and those hang gliding to make it down to the valley.

    Default Assignment: Composition: Get Down

    Mossy Sleeper ...

    But alive with ants!

What were the odds. There I was, in very casual clothes, crouching in the front yard, trying to take photos of ants, mossy sleepers, grass, rocks .... when all of a sudden a huge tour bus packed full of people pulls up. Clearly it was lost because it proceeded to do a 90-point turn before going back the way it came.

I'm still a bit shy about going out and taking photos of odd things. That's all I needed ... a tour bus pulling up to stare at me taking photos of odd things.

I'm just relieved the tour bus didn't come by 5 minutes later when the ants decided to attack my left foot!

    Default Assignment Composition 'Get Down'

I was going to try and get another shot as I posted this in Share your Shots but I won't have time. Sorry it's another flower but I not only got down and dirty, I got wet as well.
