Composition: Minimalism
Raindrop Hiding Behind Daffodil
In envisioning the concept of minimalism, I thought of objects that appear small but are profound because they are surrounded by potential space. Islands in a big sea, a single star on a dark night, a sole tree in a field, a tower emerging through fog, and, yes, perhaps raindrops on the back of a daffodil petal...

I've always found it hard not to clutter up a photo, being a lover of detail. But it can be just as hard to pick an idea and not end up making a "pictogram" out of it. Here's my entry, shot today....
