I really liked the play of morning light over the glass as I arrived at my office today, and the counterpoint of the tree on the right.

Default Assignment: "Composition: Manmade Repetitions and Patterns"

Finally: a week ago I got my new Sony (HX100V), and am now trying to work out all that can be done with it!

And having had no idea how to take a photo of the piano keys (and have now seen in a photo how brilliantly that could be done) - here my wooden flooring..

I am not really happy with the picture, but am determined to post weekly, in the hope that the pictures will get better as I learn & am forced to practice

Default Assignment: Composition: Manmade Repetitions and Patterns

My first DPS post!
I have been meaning to submit an image for an assignment for a while now but was too late by the time I managed to photograph my entry. Today I was determined to get home, grab my camera and find get to som of the patterns that I have spoted around my area (Now I cant open my eyes without seeing some sort of pattern). To my disgust I got home and it started to pour down with rain. Plan B find something in my appartment to photograph.
This pattern is from the mesh panel on the side of a port-a-cot. Hardly an award winning shot with all the great entries so far but I was determined to enter something.
Image is "as is" no post prod at all.
