I call it Angels and Angles - Mainly b/c I thought the topic was Angels at first...

I took this photo in March in Paris (I forget the name of the bridge)

Default Sunset Pine

KS Sunset
I was trying to get some sunset shots and managed to pull this one off. I thought the lens flare maybe even added to the shot.

Default Assignment: Angles

Fronds above my head

Taken with an Olympus E-510 DSLR and Olympus Zuiko 50mm f2 lens.

Looked above me while waiting for a door to be opened and my initial impression of the fern against the sky was this dark silhouetted form, which I have reproduced in sepia toned B&W above. Once my eyes got used to the brightness, the brilliance of the colours were apparent. The next photograph, taken with a fill flash, show this image. Both show the natural angles of the leaves, gently inclined from the perpendicular.

Hope you enjoy the imagery too!

Fronds above my head II

Taken with an Olympus E-510 DSLR, Olympus Zuiko 50mm f2 lens and Olympus FL-36 flash.

Default Assignment: Angles

I really had to think and search for a creative pic of angles!! We have this incredible, huge American flag where I live. As I was out searching for angles, I thought about that there are many angles to this flag: the pole 180 deg, the stripes 180 deg, the flag on the pole 90 deg, the points on the stars approx 110 deg, and even the folds in the flag fabric have angles as it flies in the breeze! I'm already thinking about the next assignment, so thank you for helping me want to get out and photograph. D.D.

Default Angle time

Spent some time hunting round my house for angles a couple of nights ago. I'll leave you to guess at what time.
Here is my interpretation of this week's theme. About 30 degrees I'd say.
