Default Assignment: Angles

In the last two days this is about the only "angle" that I can shoot her from, since she has just learned to crawl. I love the angles of her body, legs and feet.

Focal length 31mm
Exposure time 0.033s (1/30)
Aperture f/5.6

My entry is a test shot I took enroute to the shot I really wanted to get. My hope was to shoot a multiple exposure image of the drawbridge near my office as it opened or closed. But multiple exposures are tough to do with digital.

This test shot was done using an external, hand operated shutter. Two roughly 1/2 second exposures while the main shutter was kept open in bulb mode. The subject is a backlit, slatted wall. Angled the camera for the second exposure. The only post processing was to crop.

I'm still working on the bridge picture, but it may take a while. I think to get the image I really want may require strobes that are currently beyond my means....

Click through the image for the EXIF.
