Empty Nest

Empty nest... one of the circles of life. How I wish I had found life in this circle!

Default Circles to share

Go Gaters

These circles are not for the assignment but as I went looking for circles in my back yard I had to take a picture of them for my husband. He is an alum of the U of F - Go Gators!

[QUOTE=irene67;154923]I was reading this thread this morning, trying to think of "circle" ideas....when I looked down at my breakfast! Lots of circles!

circles

At first I thought it was donuts, then I looked again cereal and bananas - lots of circles indeed and they look good! Great colors.

Default First Photo for Assignments

Hello from Virginia,

Time to submit some work. Please feel free to C&C.

Well, I was a little late submitting my spring assignment so I thought this shot would fit the bill on this one. We just finished two weeks of heavy pine pollen here in eastern Virginia. A quick thunder storm Saturday afternoon revealed some interesting subjects. Water droplets everywhere!. I thought this hosta leaf had a really good shape to it so I mounted a 70-300 macro(close-up) on my wifes K10D and proceeded to capture what I saw. I did not see the pollen until I opened the files for developing. Hate the 600 pixel limit because full size on a 20" monitor really looks cool! I had to crop this down a bit to amplify the effect. Anyway, it looks like the surface tension of the water caused the pine pollen to gather on top of the droplets in small circles. I thought it was very cool and thought I'd submit it for this exercise.

Chuck
