Really inspiring! I'd love to learn how to shoot babies and children too.

Default Assignment:Circles, iPod

Assignment:Circles

1/40s, f5.6, 70mm
Nikon D70, Sigma 24-70 f2.8

This photo would sound better if I had included headphones!

Shot in sunlight through a window ever so slightly diffused by a blind. Photoshop CS2 post-processing included color correcting the screen as the screen's LED backlight is cooler than sunlight. I dodged the click-wheel and the "Fly" logo on the album cover to make the circles a little more pronounced. Also adjusted the levels to blowout some of the highlights and take focus away from my hands. Rotated and cropped (cropping is the thing I am the worst at! I just can't see the right composition!).

Nice try Fatima. How about cropping/cloning the reflection from the bottom? It is bit distracting to my eye. However, its is a nice capture.

Thanks Rehan but the light under the burner was intended to give the burner more form than just being a black square.

Thank you!
Go with the Make up - I would love to see the colors pop a little more. Great composition! I like that the cover was in the picture it adds perspective.

I agree with REHAN the reflection is a little distracting. But over all a great shot! I like that there is color in the background.
