Default Assignment: Your Morning

Greetings all,

This wasn't a typical morning for me. We were in Chiang Mai mountain biking and the guide had us stop at this coffee hut in the jungle where they grew their own coffee beans. This was some of the best coffee I've ever tasted but I forgot to pick up a bag because I was too preoccupied with taking pics while trying to keep up with everyone else. Anyway, this was the view from the table we were sitting at. Very primitive place but great coffee.

I didn't bring the XTi because I knew I was going to crash a lot that day so I only had the SD850 with me. EXIF info in the album.

Just in case you were wondering, I only crashed 3 times and my helmet saved me a 4th time from making too close of friends with a tree. It was a great day mtn biking even though the single track was covered with leaves.

Here's a link to the larger picture. I don't think the smaller one does the scene any justice.

Soft, cozy robe and coffee in my favourite cup.

Since moving over to Singapore, I've grown to love Japanese green tea - so much so that it's replaced my morning coffee.

Default Assignment: Your morning

My morning, as a mom of 3 little ones, is usually - kids, coffee and chaos.

But yesterday was Saturday. I woke up, grabbed my coffee, left my husband with the kids and took off with my new D40. I went to the lake by our home and played with my camera.

And for a change, my morning was quiet and peaceful. The photo isn't probably what you are looking for, but it was wonderful change-of-pace morning for me!
