Default EXIF intact

Am I correct in assuming the EXIF is embedded in my photos if I can read it in my editing program? My photo hosting site is SmugMug.

Thanks!

that's a definate maybe. the only editing software i have experience with is Photoshop. in photoshop, if you "save for web" it strips the exif out, but if you "save" or "save as", it retains the exif. what editing software are you using?

Thanks for your reply. I am using Photoshop Elements 5.

Do you know why the Efix data is posted under some of the photos? Does Flickr automatically do that?

No, flicker doesn't automagically do that, some of us just do that for quick reference.

This one is an old one.
Plus I added a fake effect with motion blur filter in photoshop CS2.
If I submit a current photo would faking it be allowed?
