Monochrome

I took this shot of my favorite subject (my grandson Rocky) last week on sunny day as he was playing at the window. I was thinking about the assignment when I checked on him and just loved the way the window illuminated his face. This photo is actually much better in B/W than color. I cropped it in P/S, then chose image>mode>grayscale and added a tiny amount of noise to give it an old B/W grainy effect.

It was a blade of grass in my garden, the garden was half covered in snow and alot of the water droplets on things were frozen

Used my 50-200 with 2x converter and raynox dcr-250, duno why the exif says 55mm :/.. ahh could have been my shake reduction set to 55mm, must have forgot to turn it off lol
