No time to select other photos from the laptop I stored them on so this will have to do.

I was thinking today how great these assignments are. I never really entertain hopes of winning but love the way the subject matter plays around in my mind for the week. Like this week, I find myself noticing shadows everywhere and pondering photographic possibilities. It really does stretch you as a photographer, thanks DPS.
I ended up taking mine at work with my phone - I just liked the pattern!

Next week, I tell you, next week...
I hear you Rolleh. I'll get an assignment yet . . .

Smile Um...obviously an eye for composition here!

Wow very very nice. Well worth the visit off site to check this out!
It looks wonderful wide. Maybe you can "be gentle" to us amateurs and not post in any more assignments so that WE can win. This one is sure to be somewhere at the top of the judges short list.

This may be a typical newbie question but I was wondering where the winning works of every contest are posted and how long it takes for them to be announced;

Thanks!!

I have to agree 100%! I'm having lots of fun thinking about the assignments too and I'm taking lots more pictures than I would have without the challenge of an assignment. My goal is not to win a challenge as I am a real beginner but to learn by my attempts! Thanks for the forum!
