Default Maple on the snow

This is for the "weekly assignment: Shadows". I got this shot last weekend in my back yard. The day started out grey and overcast with very flat light, but I went out in the woods anyway to get a shot for last week's assignment "rivers". Late that afternoon (too late to go back into the woods) the clouds moved off and the sun finally appeared. So I was able to shoot for two assignments on the same day.
P.S. Can anyone please let me know how I can tell if the EXIF data is intact or not? I'm not sure how to go about this.

You wouldn't be stealing it the idea has been around a while. Both rings look great this way too, this is usually done with the the bible as the back drop. Nice and a must in wedding photos. Usually a verse on love from the bible is in clear focus.

Default EXIF Info

Murfam,
To check EXIF info on a Flickr image, first click on the image to link back to Flickr. Then go to the all sizes page. Slightly below and to the right of the image is a link called "More properties". Click on this link to view the complete EXIF data. I hope this helps. BTW, nice image. It's great to fill 2 assignments in one day. Thanks for posting.

Sun Reflection in the Shadow

This is a shadow of a water drop -- if you take a close look at the shadow, you will see the arch of the sun reflected through the drop.

I have seen a ton of these... my advice... make sure the pages of the Bible you use aren't too thin. Sometimes the words from the backside of the pages will show through a lot and detract from the image.
