To T.R.R.: Tut tut, you've forgotten to peel the carrot and the onion! Love the creativity, excellent shot.

To Photoboothguy: I love looking at your shots, they're fantastic. You must have a lot of fun creating them, but I think if I wanted to make that sort of mess in our kitchen the wife would be using the pellet gun on me!!!

lol, you and Sime have posed some controversial photos. But it's all about the creativity, not about what it looks like otherwise.
They're both good pics. Sime I'm amazed at your (small) kitchen.

That is NOT art. It's disgusting to depict cooking a child.

One person's art is another person's trash.

I'm not going to sensor everything on dPS just because you don't like it, I'm sorry if you don't like that...

It's NOT censorship to recognize something that is CLEARLY an offense to human beings. Your liberalism is supposedly about tolerance... but tolerance isn't the same as accepting everything and allowing it. So, how about being tolerant of common sense? Depicting COOKING a human being, much less a CHILD, is offensive. It's not art.

If the child was Photoshopped into a pot sitting on a counter, that would be a little different. However, showing the pot on a lit stove implies the child is being cooked - cannibalism is not art. It's offensive and you should see it for what it is - disgusting.

If you don't like it, don't look it. Move along and quit trying to make the image more then it is. Theres nothing here that needs to be censerord. You only make the image what you want to see.

So, if I'm in the city and decide I don't like murder or crime, I should just look the other way? Wow... good logic.

Hmmm... funny you should say that... especially when you obviously KNOW the image is offensive. Otherwise, why did you apologetically explain it, and tell specifics of how it was taken on your Flickr page?

Also look at the burner, you can see i left it in the off postion.
Enough said... I'm done with this topic. I won't look, but that doesn't mean I won't call out what is clearly offensive at another date & time. Have a nice day.
