Post Assignment: Mid-Day Portraits

This was a really tough assignment for me as I work nights and generally asleep at mid-day. As hard as I tried, I couldn't stay awake long enough to make it to noon. I also have to deal with San Francisco fog and hope it burns off by noon. So, this was as close as I could get.

My subject is Jojo, the nine year old female Yorkie I adopted from the SF SPCA in April. She was so intent on watching everything going on around her that I finally had to meow like a cat to get her to look at me! Yep, passer-bys were giving me strange looks or laughing at my "technique". LOL

I used "Fill Flash" to remove shadow from her face. Hopefully, my photo won't be disqualified because of the time I took the photo.
