I guess the image could take advantage from a better cropping, and different focal lenght (in this last case i wanted to make sure we could see the entire ice blocks, making it more clear as far as evoking winter is concerned).

This scene evokes winter here in New England for me, as the snow covered swing seems to wait for the spring and the child who will use it.

I like the framing just the way you have it now. It really gives one a sense of isolation that sometimes comes with winter. The bike seems to represent summer surrounded by a vast sea of cold nothingness. That bike can't wait until things thaw and it gets some use again.
