Oh, so beautiful. I do miss the blanketing of snow. (I also like your quote, Hick. Who is it from?)

Temps yesterday, were in the upper 70's F. For me, the current season is early spring, but spring here, doesn't mean new leaves on trees or flowers blooming. Our leaves stay on year round, and the Oaks shed some leaves in the Spring. Our wild flowers begin blooming in the Fall, (Nov). So, when I do post my photo, you will likely think I'm confused, which might be the case, but I do know my season.
Still haven't figured out how to maintain my EXIF when reducing image, so if someone wants to help me out in that specific thread, I have a post or two in there...

Seasons Greetings!
ACK! The dreaded pine pollen! I wonder how much longer til it starts here? THAT would make a good seasonal photo!

It's supposed to be winter in New England, so of course it feels more like fall. There was a lot of fog yesterday, so I took this shot.

Default Assignment: Seasons

I'm sure we'll see a lot of beautiful pristine winter shots this week. You know the ones. A deer walking in a snow covered field. Or, your puppy out playing in the front yard, discovering snow for the first time. Awwww, how sweet!! Here's the reality of winter!! I have a sprained wrist. It's swollen so bad my gloves don't fit!! I'm wearing a wrist brace!! We get pummeled with....Oh, I don't know, probably 6 feet of snow!!(May be a bit of exaggeration) I open my garage door this morning & my driveway is completely drifted in! The snowplow left a pile of huge rock hard chunks of snow at the end of my driveway. I don't even know where to begin! How the heck am I going to do this! Trying to shovel with one bad hand? Are you kidding me!!! I go back into the house & try to come up with an alternative to using a glove on my bad hand. When I hear the roar of a snow blower. I look out my window to see my neighbor clearing my driveway. This is where the spirit of human kindness really kicks in. Just when you think it can't get any worse. Someone comes along & rebuilds your confidence in humanity. So here is the man that saved my day!! I caught him doing another neighbors driveway. I think he did the entire street.

Okay, Rant over. Somebody wake me when Spring gets here.
