Assignment: Film Noir

I chose little different spin for this assignment. In life Anakin Skywalker became Darth Vader, in death he regained his identity as Anakin. I put several versions on flickr, if you would like to check them out, there is a link below.

Very Clever! Would a dark room and side light brought the contrast up and made it shadowy from the car lights pov? I like your creativity!!

Default Assignment: Film Noir

I owe this shot to my girlfriend, who in the spur of the moment had the brilliant idea of using our golfcart's headlights for some ghetto lighting.

Default Assignment: Film Noir

Here is my entry inspired by the song Private Investigations by Dire Straits

Private Investigations

Camera: Pentax K100D
Exposure: 0.006 sec (1/160)
Aperture: f/16.0
Focal Length: 28 mm
ISO Speed: 200
Exposure Bias: 0 EV
Exposure Program: Manual
Date and Time (Original): 2010:04:28 19:50:03-04:00

I used three flashes on this. One through a DIY grid snoot to light the papers, one through a custom gobo to make the blind effect, and one through an umbrella as the main light.

Thanks Miggy,
The dark room would have probably worked well. LOL I was trying to do this while my son was at school so he didn't catch me playing with his lego. My hubby already informed me that one of the guns in my shot isn't actually a machine gun but a Star Wars blaster oops. I am glad you liked it.

These shots are just incredible. We have some very talented and creative people here.
