Not for the assignment, seeing as it was taken in November, but, I figured I'd share it anyway.......

***Not for the assignment now, I posted another image later on***
I tried my hand at doing some water drop shots (inspired by the recent threads on the subject) with my new DIY softbox, made like the one here. I don't have an external flash, so I stuck a 150 W Reveal (Daylight color temp) bulb in instead. The softbox is about 45 degrees to camera left. I also fired the on camera flash with a little ghetto bouncing action. Only PP was to clone out a tiny bit of blur on the droplet and a weird reflection. I took dozens of shots and chose this one for the assignment because of the single drop and horizontal nature of the ripples, both of which I think contribute to the simplicity (minimalism) of the shot.
