Nikon D5000
18mm 5200 ISO 800 shutter F/3.5 (wish had 1.8) +5EV Cloudy WB No Flash Edited in Photoshop CS2 I'm a photojournalist for a local paper in Utah. Took this at a high school state tournament. Not really a shot I can use for the paper but I really like the lack of motion except for the basketball player catching the ball off a rebound. It's one of those times where everyone except one person is paused waiting for the action to began again. Like the world has stopped for that one person while he is in the air and as soon as his feet hit the ground it starts again. Hope you like it. |

Assignment: Jump!
Taken: March 6, 2010 Taken on Saturday at my daughter's lacrosse game. Each of these girls are actually on the same team, but one was on loan since the opposing team was a few players short. It was great to see them competing so hard. While the background is busy, to me, this fits the assignment fairly well. ![]() Camera: Nikon D90 Exposure: 0.001 sec (1/2000) Aperture: f/5.6 Focal Length: 70 mm ISO Speed: 200 Exposure Bias: -1/3 EV Flash: No Flash Date and Time (Original): 2010:03:06 10:49:00 Last edited by Chip; 03-07-2010 at 09:57 PM. |
