Default Good Use of DOF - "All In"

I realise that the assignment is over but i wanted to post this anyway.

I took this on my new Canon IXUS 70. I was using the digital macro mode.

I love this picture! I still can't figure out exactly what is going one here - is the baby putting his finger in water from above - where is the camera in relationship to the water?

I am at the side of the bath tub and he is wet. The biggest challenge in getting this shot was focusing on the end of the finger of a moving 2 year old.
