Default First entry in weekly assignments

Horse & Barn

Went for a walk with my camera ... tripod ... husband ... dog and took pictures until I couldn't feel my fingers any longer ... brrrrr baby it's cold outside. Here is one of the ones that wasn't a complete waste of time.

This is my first attempt at a weekly assignment ... I'm still drooling over others pictures but thought I would put in mine this time. I hope my attempts improve as I learn from the photos in the Forum. Any comments are welcome

Cheers.

Default Assignment: Good Use of DOF

Spring

Shot this the other day in the West End. I wanted to capture a feel of London through the red double decker bus and bright lights in the background.

Nice shot. I really like the texture that you captured in Ms Bree's face.

I'm generally just a lurker, but I was bored today so I figured I'd mess around. This is my girlfriends dirty cat. Taken inside with bad light.

Only changes were to white balance and a denoise filter.

Faces in the Mud

This is my first entry into the assignments.
Due to the drought in our area, Lake Moultrie is very low. This is the lake bottom. It's usually under 10+ feet of water. I think this mud bank looks like it has screaming, scary faces in it.
