Default Assignment: Good Use of DOF

I had a lot of fun playing around with various props tonight, but in the end I think this one came out pretty well. I don't know how well the depth of field is... still a newbie.

Quick question... the exif data's missing cause I had to clean up some dust in the gimp. Does anybody know how to keep it intact despite editing? The original photo can be found here.

Nice shot; I like the subject and colors.

As for copying EXIF, I've used ExifTool to get around GIMP's "forgetfulness". Here are some copying examples.

Default Assignment:Good use of DOF

I'm still new in photography and I read about dof before here in the forum. Since then I'm practicing the dof from shallow to large. And here's my shot for the assignment.

Any comment is appreciated. Thanks guys.

Miss Mae - I think you captured the "landing" well. I really like your angle & DOF!

Shallow is too big a word for this DOF. A challenge for sure. Thanks FF for kind words, and thread idea.

A Flakey challenge.
