Default Assignment: Centered Composition

The Bean

So I am not sure about this weekly assignments forum...I posted last week before the deadline and for some reason it wasn't approved, but how many people posted pictures that did not comply with all of the rules and still made it in? If the images are going to be screened, they should be screened (IMHO)

Anyway this is one of my first shots with the new Canon 7D, and so far I am totally into it. The build quality is a world away from my old 400D. Let me know what you think as I always say I am in this to improve and I can't do it alone.

This image is of The Bean (Cloud Gate) in Chicago's Millenium Park.

EXIF Data:

Exposure: .08 sec at f / 3.2
Focal Length: 58mm
ISO 100

Post processed with Canon Digital Photo Professional & Photoshop CS4.

Notes
This is an image of the arches under the SUIROKAKU aqueduct in Kyoto, Japan near NANZENJI Temple. I hadn't been there in nearly eight years, but when this assignment was announced, I thought this might make a good subject, so I waited for a day with soft light (which fortunately came on a Saturday) and made this image.[/QUOTE]

Awesome shot!
