I am having a problem focusing with my Rebel XT. When in AF mode, the red dots appear WAY above the boxes they are supposed to be in, and the while the AF works, the preview in the viewfinder is completely out of focus. When I'm in MF mode and focus through the viewfinder, my images come out extremely out of focus as well.

Help!

your lens and/or body is broken. you need to get back to the place u bought it asap and see what can be done, or see what warenty u still have it. it deffiently should not act that way.

i would go asap, u never know how much time u have left that they will honor your coverage plans

sorry about your camera mate

I've not seen that before - I'd take it back too. Sounds like something is out of alignment.

Well I just talked to B&H. I couldn't have had a better experience. They settled the whole problem in under 15 minutes and are refunding me completely, paying to ship it back, and paying to ship the new one. They were extremely professional and understanding, and even after the problem I had, I would still do business with them again.
