Alpha 1.02 to 1.04 Upgrade

Sony released a 1.02 to 1.04 firmware upgrade for the Sony DSLR-A100W.

Anyone has updated his camera?

I've just completed this upgrade. Everything seems to be working just fine.

I can't be sure but the noise reduction seems to be a little better. The number of shots that you can take in continuous mode seems to be reduced quite severely in RAW+Jpeg mode being only able to take 3 shots before hitting the wall. It then reduces way down to about 1 shot every 1.5 seconds.

Other modes still seem to hit around the 3 shots per second.

The only official info on this update is that it allows the display of the focal length info of the DT 55-200mm lens, which I don't have. Like MS updates, there are probably a raft of other updates that they aren't actually telling us about.
