OK, HERE IT IS:
DARREN WILL POST A PICTURE OF HIMSELF FROM THE NECK UP...THEN THE FUN BEGINS!
I've seen this before and it shows how corperations ruin people's self-esteem for profit. They make these people look like godesses through manipulation (Whether it's though cosmetics or digital) so they can make you feel like crap. Then they shove a product in your face claming it can make you look like girl/guy on the advertisement. That's my feelings when it comes to commerical photography. There is no more natural beauty in the commerical world, Just fake faces with fake bodies filled with fake emotions.
When it come to taking someones portrait I feel that some manipulation is needed to fix our photographing mistakes or their blemishes. I've seen myself getting rid of braces, whiting teeth, removing moles, zits, adjusting the skin tone. But I wouldn't go far as making the model look like something she isn't

When I worked for a local studio, the owner actually did a lot of little touch ups like Bail said, but he actually added this soft effect over their skin. It is hard to explain, and I will try to get a shot up but it was amazing and it really didn't change their appearance like this video did, but it somehow did make them look like godesses! Oh well, I'm never going to make someone they're not.
