I bought my 350D about 3 months ago and it has got me hooked on photography.
However, The original lens, 18-55 is not that good and I had a number of photo's that were blurred. So I bought a very expensive 18-75 lens with image stabillisation. I thought this would solve the problem. No it hasn't. I still get blur occasionally. I have questioned if I move around when taking shots and my wife assures me I dont. What is going wrong please?

Are you able to post an example or two with the settings? This is one of those questions that is hard to answer without seeing exactly what the problem is. Heck, even just telling the settings would help! I'm no expert but I'd love to try to help you out!

I have that lens and the same camera. I feel your pain.
Outside it's a great lens, inside and in low light more effort is required.
Try upping the ISO when you shoot in low light conditions. Experiment with it a bit by bumping it up to 200, then 400/800 etc. and see how it effects you shots.

I know I posted before but I guess I just wanted to go into more detail. I, too, have the XT. How much of a blur are you talking about? The XT shoots soft a lot of the time (you can bump up contrast but its more something that should be handled post processing).
Are you shooting with reasonable ISO (though, most cases other than low light, you should be able to stick to 100) and shutter speed? Also, have you tried adjusting the diopter? Some days my vision is a little better than others and the slightest diopter adjustment can make a big difference in my pictures. When you preview on your LCD, make sure you zoom in, because that tiny screen is hellacious at giving a good reading without zooming and is really only good for composition purposes.
I apologize if I sound like I'm implying that you don't know anything about your camera. I'm just trying to think of possible problems. I hope this post might help someone out there, if it doesn't help with your camera issues. If it keeps doing it, take it to a camera shop and test out another lens... though chances are that its your camera. Write a letter to Canon, if its a common problem, we all might have a chance to make sure there is nothing wrong with our 350d's!
Again, good luck!

What shutter speeds are we talking about? What mode are you shooting in? Post EXIF data is possible. I have that camera/lens combination and love it. It works fine for me. I can handhold up to 1/20 of a second @ 55mm with the shots being sharp. Anything slower needs a tripod.

i'd also like to see examples and actual EXIF data. don't expect a crisp picture if you're handholding a shot at 3 seconds or something like that. IS can only do so much. i'm guessing it's user error and not the lens.
