After reading the tutorial on antiquing images, I thought I would give it a shot. I basically just followed the steps in the tutorial. You can read about it here:

Antiquing digital images in Photoshop (http://digital-photography-school.com/blog/antiquing-digital-images-in-photoshop-part-1/)

I know this isn't the "Critique My Shot" forum but I'd love to hear what you think.

ShouldBeStudying,

Could've come from a shoebox in someone's attic. The tear & tape is fun; have you tried that?

Good work. I love the edge where the treeline meets the sky. The fringing there looks very authentic. In contrast, I wonder if the figures are just a bit too sharp still. If you still have the image broken in to layers, it would be interesting to see what it looks like with them slightly less in focus.

ps. Of course, I'm ashamed to admit that most of my pictures wouldn't need that stage! ;)

what a happy looking couple! Very cute :)
I agree with Wulf that it seems a little too sharp. Other than that, it looks awesome!

I like the way you antiqued this photo. Very creative!!!

Looking at the replies to this post there might be a couple of things to try to make it look more "Authentic Antique". I might have added some film grain to make it look like a file photo. I also might have used the Gaussian Blur filter to soften the photo some. Just my $0.02. ;)
