I've been goofing around a lot taking indoor photo's without flash and night photo's and I'm noticing some serious noise in the photo's that represents itself as small pink colored pixels scattered throughout the photo's. What am I doing that is causing this and how can I fix it?

Check your ISO settings on your camera. You'll get less noise with a lower ISO. I just had a look at one of your pictures (Close Encounters) and the ISO was set to 1600. Your manual should tell you how to change that :)

Just one other quick point, with longer exposures, you should set your ISO as low as possible because longer exposures, you're more likely to get noise in general.

Ah ok. Thanks a bunch. I'll try that. I need a tripod before I get too much into those long exposure shots eh. I've been trying them a lot and getting little more than blur.:o

No worries :)

And when you do get the tripod (or until then), check out the photography after dark (http://digital-photography-school.com/forum/showthread.php?t=516) thread for some tips on night photography. :)
