Looks great - Nikon are going to the next level!

Nikon have come back in a BIG way with the new D300 and their first full-frame DSLR D3.


I'm absoluetly set on buying the new 24-70mm f/2.8 and 14-24 f/2.8 sometime after.

Huge day for Nikon! So many awesome new releases.

Oh yeah, that looks really nice. Nikon have definitely made one heck of an offering with these 2 new cameras.

I asked this in the D3 thread as well, but anyone know why Nikon ditched CCD sensors in favor of CMOS sensors in these two latest cameras? I've always heard from tech-geeks that CCD's did a better job at capturing images than CMOS's.
