On a trip to Mexico (near Cancun) this last March, we visited the Mayan ruins of Chichen Itza - pretty amazing place.

I snapped this photo of El Castillo - one of the main pyramids there. This is one of the best shots I've ever taken, I think.

I also took this shot of the Observatory - kind of an institute of learning in their culture.

Very nice. I remember walking up those stairs...........and then trying to get down. They were high and steep.

Thank you. Unfortunately, we didn't get to climb up - it was all roped off. It would have been a great view from up there.
