I have the chance to be at the beach for this year's Perseid showers. Peak night is supposed to be Aug 12, 2007, and there's no moon. I have a Nikon CoolPic2000. Any way I can make some decent star trail shots? I have a film camera somewhere around here (!!), but I'd like to go digital, if I can.
My basic question is re camera settings. I can use a tripod with this camera.
