got this idea from another (non-photography) forum that i'm a part of:

first, look at the statement the person who posted above (or before) you said. you respond to it as either 'true' or 'false', then come up w/ another statement for the person below you.

for example:

the post above: The person below me is into photography

your posts:

and continued on....get it?:D

let's get it started...

False. Don't have the equipment yet to photograph birds. I am stuck between three lenses the Sigma 70-300mm, Canon 75-300mm, Or the Sigma 70-300 APO. As of now I am leaning towards the canon due to the price w/ the rebates going on.

The person below me snapped nude shots.

Feisty
12-23-2006, 02:24 AM
Well ... I did take a few partial nudes in 1966 ... before most contributers to this thread were born. I still remember the moments. That's part of what I appreciate about photography. The moment is captured in my mind, as well as in the camera. Sometimes my mind has a better recollection of what was going on, while other times the image reminds me of things I forgot.

My guess is that the next respondent to this thread was not born before 1966.

the person below me owns two or more different brands of camera (Nikon, Canon, etc)

Bail

False

It's all canon for me. Doesn't mean that I despise Nikon, It's just that I have no problems with canon as of yet. My first digital was a Fujifilm 1.3mp POS. I spent more time cleaning the lens then I was shooting, the second was a Olympus 2mp. It was okay untill the sliding cover broke right off. Then it was a Canon Digital Elph 3mp. Loved it up untill the lens meet the corner of a table which stripped the threads in the lens. The lens was not able to move. So I replaced it with a SD300 4Mp which I still own to this day. Then I got a deal on a 20D package so I went for it.

I do love how Nikon uses IR for a remote shutter release. That means you can buy a TV remote control and program it for the camera.

Since this past summer I've tried to do at least one abstract photo everytime I'm out shooting. Sometimes it comes out great, others, I learn from my mistakes (which is what its all about)!

True,

Short story, I was involved in a multi-car accident and ended up taking some shots. I felt guilty, but then again I felt that since I was a part of it it would be OK to take shots.

TPBM has traveled more than 1000 miles to get a particular shot.

Detailed events just in case you might care.

The week before last I was involved in a multi car accident. A lady in a Miata merging onto the freeway that I was on spun out in front of me at about 50 mph due to ice on the ramp. I narrowly avoided hitting her in the driver's door but in doing so I ended up losing control and spinning a couple of times.

It was very scary, but I didn't hit anything or anybody by some miracle. She was hit head on by the car behind me and another car bounced off of one of them. All their air bags deployed and the passenger in the car that hit her had a couple of minor injuries. After checking on everyone I waited there to see if I would be needed as a witness. Emergency crews arrived and went to work. I then noticed a local news videographer setting up his tripod. I then remembered my gear in my trunk so I retrieved it and took a few shots.
