The photograph is taken in a couldy evening using a long focal length in the Himalayas. I loved the sight of the Buddhist monks in their maroon robes standing in the banks of a serene lake. I tried to follow the rule of thirds. There are some grains because I used ISO 1600 to get the exposure. I did not do any post processing, except reducing the resolution and size to fit within limits. I would really appreciate if our expert forum members can offer some tips on this photograph.

Thanks,
Subrata

subrataofkris, Welcome

Solitude as in a lonely or secluded place? Without the laundry line, and taken from further away, to include more monks (if there), and a little less lake, this would be a good photo.

Apologies to Subrataofkris, it appears he accidentally clicked to 'report post' rather than 'reply to post', Since he won't be online again for a while here is his post:
"Thanks for your observations. Just to let you know that the colourful line is not a clothesline, it is a line of Buddhist prayer flags. These flags and the incense sticks to the right (a bit of billowing smoke to the right of the screen) are part of the story."
