Apparently there is a right and wrong way to use the word photoshop (http://www.adobe.com/misc/trade.html#photoshop).
The topic seemed a bit too not serious for the post-processing forum (where I'm sure Adobe would have a field day correcting us all ;))

Haha that is too funny. Thanks for the link! They just want their full name publicized everywhere. They should have made it shorter. :p Adobe CS2! doh!

Google was trying to do the same thing recently. They didn't want people to use "Google" as a verb. Yeah, right.
The AdobeĀ® document was under a "Legal Info" category, so it's probably for publications and stuff like that.
Both don't want to become "generic" terms like "Kleenex", "Q-tips", etc.

Google loves it when people use their name as a verb... just not when you're using another search engine. :P You don't "google" something on Yahoo.
and yeah, that page looks like it's just guidelines for people mentioning their products in publications, third-party plugins, etc.
